When moving my wireless Logitech mouse Vista Beta 2 Build 5384 makes noise.
Don't know where it is coming from, but it can be heard clearly, when sitting next to the computer. Maybe it comes from the chassis-speaker.
Windows XP Prof does not do this. Nor Ubuntu Dapper Drake.
How is this possible?

Vista makes noise
Possibly your mouse can finally express itself with Vista ?

The generic drivers in Vista causes Logitech wireless mice keyboards to create a feedback loop with certain sound cards. I've noticed this with my setup on an old SB Live Value sound card but not my nForce 2 sound card.
I will state that this may not be limited to Logitech wireless. My Microsoft wireless mice seem to operate fine with no noise.
If you want the issue to be resolved, beg Logitech for better Vista support. They seem to be one of the only hardware manufactures not playing ball with Microsoft under Vista.

Try disabling CD Audio if not already. Try disabling CD Digital also. "Luke Fitzwater" wrote in message
